About

I am Associate Professor at the Department of Business Communication, Aarhus University, Business and Social Sciences, Denmark. I gained my Doctoral degree in Organizational Communication and Public Relations at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland and my Master degree in Public Relations at the University of Udine in Italy. I have also studied - for a non academic degree - Business Communication at Laurentian University, Sudbury, Canada.

My research interests focus on public relations and relationships management; public/ political communication; crisis communication; new and social media; the European Union. But generally speaking I do not limit myself to only these fields. If there is something interesting and challenging (I love challenges) I throw myself into new ideas and approaches.

Besides being a member of the European Public Relations Education and Research Association (EUPRERA), International Communication Association (ICA), European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA), I serve as scientific reviewer for Public Relations and Political Communication Divisions of the Annual Conference ICA, for the National Communication Association (NCA) and for some international journals. I am also part of the Editorial Board of Corporate Communication: an International Journal, book review section.
